This appears to be the work map for "Hughes military map of Richmond & Petersburgh [sic]. Va" (entry no. 632). A portion of Adolph Lindenkohl's "Military map of southeastern Virginia" (entry no. 463) has been used as a base, to which the author has added tiny drawings of houses and churches, fortifications at Petersburg, and the "Valley of death" at Fort Darling.
Description derived from published bibliography.
