Summary
Significance: After the roadhouse at Rhon River (now Tatina River) burned in May, 1924, travelers used the trapper's cabin/shelter cabin of Einar Carlson, a partner in the Rhon River Roadhouse. Carlson's Rhon River Shelter Cabin, later maintained by the Alaska Road Commission, was 305 miles along the trail from Seward.
