Jacob Crow Farm, House, Crow Creek Road, 1 mile south of intersection of Routes 15 & 28, Cameron, Marshall County, WV
Summary
Significance: Although there are more outstanding "I" houses in Marshall County and the surrounding area, the Jacob Crow House is noteworthy for its presence in a somewhat remote area of Marshall County. Furthermore, while most extant local examples possess either no stylistic detailing or reflect the popularity of the Italianate style in the latter part of the nineteenth century, the Jacob Crow House reflects the earlier popularity of the Greek Revival style.
