Summary
Significance: Ballroom on attic floor attributed by Architectural Historian J. Frederick Kelly to architect David Hoadley. House is one of the first stone residences in New Haven. It is built on land once occupied by Theophilus Eaton, first governor of Connecticut. Possibly situated on basement of the Sarah Jones Morrison House, built before 1722.
