Summary
Significance: This residence is a high style brick masonry design similar to other high style masonry residences in Utah at the turn of the century, well executed by local carpenters and masons, its appearance modestly reflects the achievements of its original owner, John R. Halliday. Halliday, a railroad agent, later founded and served as the first president of the Bank of Pleasant Grove.
