Joseph Parks Farm, Kitchen, 16442 Shepherdstown Pike, Sharpsburg, Washington County, MD

Significance: The kitchen is a small rectangular one-room outbuilding, constructed at an unknown date in the early 19th century. The kitchen was built of horizontal log construction, and its exterior sheathed with vertical board-and-batten siding. A large fieldstone fireplace at the building's north end is surmounted with a brick chimney.
