Summary
Significance: Three story mill built by Joshua Kern (slate markers in gable ends), that has irregular slate load-bearing walls. Machinery found includes, in basement: 1 Eureka brush machine, turbine waterwheel, main shaft and gearing; 1st floor: 2 run of stone, 4 stands of rolls; 2nd floor: 1 corn cracker, 2 purifiers, 1 scalper; 3rd floor: 1 flour chest, 3 bolts, 13 elevator heads. 25 HP gasoline engine supplemented water power of Trout Creek. The turbine and pressure case are still in the basement today.
