Keystone Bridge, Spanning South Platte River, Waterton, Jefferson County, CO
Summary
Significance: The bridge is a pin connected iron Pratt through truss, manufactured by the Keystone Bridge Company of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was probably built originally for the Denver, South Park, and Pacific Railroad other stone piers on the site indicate that this is probably the second bridge on the site. The bridge was removed from railroad service about 1935 and was planked for automobile traffic. In 1978, the bridge was planned to be dismantled, piece marked and reassembled in another location...
