Klinger's grotto - Public domain monumental decor drawing

Drawing shows travelers standing before a grotto in the woods in Germany. Bayard Taylor traveled through Germany several times in his life, between 1844 and his death in 1879, but the manuscript makes it clear that he is an older man. The drawing is accompanied by page nineteen of a manuscript in which he describes a hike on the Lugsburg, a favorite summer resort of Bavarians.
