Kodiak Naval Operating Base, Aircraft Engine Test Building, Fifth Street & Tom Styles Road, U.S. Coast Guard Station, Kodiak, Kodiak Island Borough, AK
Significance: Of three naval bases in Alaska in World War II this base included repair facilities for naval aircraft. The naval station had the capability for the major overhaul of twenty engines per month and these were tested in this building.
