Lemmon-Anderson-Hixson Ranch, Residence, 11220 North Virginia Street, Reno, Washoe County, NV
Summary
Significance: This building is significant as a contributing element of the Fielding-Hixson-Anderson Ranch, a property that has been determined eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places. This wood frame home is the larger of two residences at this site and was probably occupied by a ranch manager, or perhaps as a home for Henry Anderson when he came to stay at the ranch. As such, this home may have been the effective headquarters for the Peavine Ranch operations.
