Liberty Hall, 1235 West Broad Street, Quakertown, Bucks County, PA
Summary
Significance: Built by Abel Roberts in 1772, Liberty Hall represents the simple Quaker style. It was the first permanent residence in the town, an important crossroads. In September 1777 the Liberty Bell was hidden behind this house while en route to safekeeping in Northamptontown.
