Summary
Print shows an allegorical female figure riding in a chariot drawn by mules with the crowned heads of kings of various European countries; it is following three hags leading the way to the temple of folly in the upper left corner. In the mid-foreground is a decapitated mule wearing a fleur-de-lis banner and with the head of Louis XVI on the ground nearby. In the lower left corner is the pope with several other clerical figures, blessing the procession. On the right is a group of figures wearing foreign dress. Fame flies overhead, blowing horns with her mouth and anus. Includes a remarque showing a wreath with a rooster crowing at top and the letters "RF" within.
