Significance: Dan Boone is one of three cabins that share a site with another group of three. Although they seem relatively small in size, there cabins fit up to 8 campers with their bunk beds. As opposed to the wooden walls that enclose the space, Dan Boone was once enclosed with screens, allowing views from all sides. The foundation which is still standing today is composed of bricks and concrete blocks. Through various openings in the foundation one can see that it is hollow beneath the floor.
