Summary
Significance: This mid to late 19th century five-story roller mill originally drew water to power its turbine from the Lehigh Canal level above Lock 28, exhausting its tailrace under the canal through a culvert and into the Lehigh River. In 1891 the mill contained: Basement - 1 Victor Brush; 1st floor - 7 sets of rolls, 2 run of stone, and 1 silver creek smutter; 2nd floor - 2 flour packers, and 4 purifiers; 3 chests and a Branduster in the attic. The mill is now operated by Con Agra to grind oat flours.
