九行二十三字. Nine lines, with twenty-three characters per line.
補：首葉書口下題"夏邦彥刻".
明沈塾撰，子節甫續成之。塾字子居，號巽洲。節甫初名之歷（下"止"換"金"），字節甫，後以字行。嘉靖三十八年進士，官至南京光祿寺尚寶司卿。輯刻紀錄彙編頗精雅。按馬要沈氏，自宋以來為吳興著姓。相傳元季有居洪城者，雄於資，為當路所害，舉家被繫。又有名德號撝和者，為馬要嚴氏館甥，得免於難，是為馬要沈氏始祖。傳至萬曆修譜時，已十二世，二百七十餘年矣。沈塾自序，沈啟(原序)萬曆十一年(1583)，沈節甫(序)，沈[tong](後序).
