Summary
B. A. Botkin, national folklore director for the Federal Writers' Project and chairman of the Joint Committee on Folk Arts of the WPA, and Charles Seeger, deputy director of the Federal Music Project and vice-chairman of the WPA's Joint Committee on Folk Arts, recommend to Alan Lomax, assistant in charge of the Archive of American Folk Song, Library of Congress, that batteries and a transformer for the recording equipment be sent to Dr. Carita Doggett Corse, state supervisor of the Writers' Project in Florida.
