Researcher offered this identifying information for four men in the center, starting second from left, the man with dark coat open in the front to show white shirt: Col. Ernesto Garcia; second row behind him, Col. Pedro Sosa; front row Gen. Maclovio Herrera; and Gen. Raul Madero in light coat, with pants tucked into his boots. Both Garcia and Sosa were heads of regiments of the Benito Juarez brigade, commanded by Herrera (correspondence, 2013).
