Summary
Significance: This structure is a good example of the small-scale commercial block property type. It possesses the distinct characteristics of the commercial building type. Chief among these is the well-defined storefront space with a distinction between public and private uses. The block also exemplifies the Classical Revival style of architecture and exhibits sufficient integrity of design, materials and workmanship. The original fenestration pattern, exterior wall cladding and formal entry features are also still in evidence.
