Summary
Significance: The Morrisse Building is a fine example of the Renaissance Revival style. It was built ca. 1890-1892 from a design of local architect Charles Edwards for James A. Morrisse (1844-1903), a prominent Paterson insurance and real estate entrepreneur. The building served as his business headquarters.
