Summary

Significance: The Smokehouse is a small, square, vernacular outbuilding, constructed at an unknown date in the late eighteenth or early nineteenth century. The walls were built of horizontal log construction, resting on fieldstone foundations. The exterior is sheathed in vertical board-and-batten siding.
