Print shows an invitation to the national inauguration ball with half-length portraits of Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Johnson as "President of the U.S." and "Vice President of the U.S.", includes two fasces-like pillars with eagles perched on top, resting on three steps labeled "1777-83", "1812-15", and "1860-65", three columns of names under the heading of "Managers", and a space for the name of the invitee "The honor of [blank] Company is requested". This particular invitation is inscribed with the name of "Jas Lawrence Turner M.D."
