New York, New York. The War Emergency Board of the fur industry formed a fur vest project. Various fur factories donate the services of their employees one day a week to make fur-lined vests for the merchant marines. The fur is all from voluntary donations from the public. After the fur has been stitched together it is dampened and nailed onto a board in the correct shape. Here it is left to dry
