Summary
Significance: A vernacular stone and frame structure, Little Oatlands provides a vivid contrast to the formal mansion that is the centerpiece of the historic district. It served as the home of George Carter II while the nearby mansion was being built, and later as the home of the last of the Carters to live at Oatlands.
