Oldest members of House in point of service. These three men have served nearly a hundred years in the House of Representatives. They are, left to right; Rep. Gilbert N. Haughen, (Rep.) of Iowa, who has served the longest, 33 years and 20 days; Speaker of the House John N. Garner, of Texas, who is now in his thirtieth year of service; and Rep. Edward W. Pou, Democrat, of North Carolina, who will complete 33 years of service next March. 3/23/32
