Summary
From slug on back of photo: "Photo shows an excellent view of the ill-fated Vestris as it listed, while passengers are hurriedly donning life preservers as they leave the vessel." The photo was taken by Fred Hanson, a crew member on the Vestris, as it was sinking on November 12, 1928.
