A career teacher. Her family goes back in Concord to before the American Revolution.. Grew up on a farm, considers herself a country girl. Well educated for her day, has traveled all over the world in her adult life. Socially, according to her was not part of the Main St. upper class. The self sustaining nature of farm life - her neighborhood memories of Main St., merchants, and school days are touched upon. Other topics include the transportation revolution of the electric trolley and automobile and their effect on town life.
