Landmarks and compass points labeled on image.
On front under image: "This view is taken from the town of Rhyolite, which is in the center of the Bullfrog mining district. A few of the mines and claims above indicated lie beyond the range, but most of them cover the slopes and summits of the mountains and are in plain view. The panoramic effect is more clearly shown by holding the two ends of the picture together, and looking in turn toward the different points of the compass. It will be noted that the tent at the extreme left is the same tent seen at the extreme right. The view covers the entire horizon, and takes in every hill which can be seen from Rhyolite."
