Photograph probably shows the 71st Regiment at Broadway and West 60th Street, New York City, on their way to get on trains to Brownsville, Texas, June 27, 1916. On that date the 71st Regiment marched from their armory at 33rd Street and Park Avenue to around 60th Street and 11th Avenue where they took the train. (Source: Library staff)
