Significance: The barn includes a log barn probably constructed in the mid or late 1880s that was followed by three additions in the following years. The log portion of the barn originally rested on large, cut sandstone slabs at all four corners, however the current owners have updated the foundation with a concrete slab foundation. The round logs are unpeeled and have split pole chinking of various size and mortar at the exterior. On the exterior of these log walls, the bark of the trees has weathered away, but on the interior there are places where the bark is visible yet...
