Summary

Significance: The building was constructed in 1910 as a U.S. Post Office. At the time it was built it featured the first revolving door in the City of Pittsfield. Much of the interior mahogany is still visible, although some of it was painted during the 1967 renovation. The structure is two story Vermont marble with Ionic Columns. The doorway is located in the center front of the building with three windows on each side. The second floor has eight windows across the front. In 1967 the interior was renovated to its present condition. The interior contains a large amount of mahogany.
