Production. P-51 ("Mustang) fighter planes. Two employees at North American's Inglewood, California, plant, test the balance of a mounted tire for a P-51 fighter. In the background are tires for B-25 bombers. This plant produces the battle-tested B-25 ("Billy Mitchell") bomber, used in General Doolittle's raid on Tokyo, and the P-51 fighter plane which was first brought into prominence by the British raid on Dieppe
