Bolshoi Theater program on the occasion of the coronation of Emperor Nicholas and Empress Alexandra, May 17, 1896.
Pages [5] through [9] are a color-illustrated program for the coronation performance of Act 1 and the Epilog of Glinka's Zhiznʹ za t︠s︡ari︠a︡ [Life for the Tsar] with lyrics by Baron Egor Fedorovich Rozen; stage design by A.F. Gelʹt︠s︡er and K.F. Valʹt︠s︡, costumes by T.A. Voronenko [i.e. T.P. Voronenko?] after designs by E.P. Ponomarev. The cast included Trezvinskīĭ, Markova, Donskoĭ and Koshchit︠s︡. Illustrations are signed: A. Ri︠a︡bushkin.
Pages [11] through [19] are a program for the coronation performance of the ballet Zhemchuzhina (La Perle), music by R. Drigo and choreography by M. Petipa; among the many dancers named are Samoĭlova, Gelʹt︠s︡er, Lenʹi︠a︡ni and Gerdt. Detailed summary of the plot has some French text. Illustration on p. [11] signed: A. fon Gogen; other illustrations signed: E. Samokish-Sudkovskai︠a︡.

Unbound; sewn through the center with a yellow silk cord.
