[Quote from Lincoln's inaugural speech and portion of letter from Lincoln to Thurlow Weed.]
Summary
Provenance: The letter addressed by Mr. Lincoln to Thurlow Weed on March 15, 1865, unusual in itself, has an especial meaning for me as in was written the day on which I came into the world. This has prompted me to have a fitting reproduction of it made for distribution among personal friends and Lincoln students. Please accept one of these reproductions with my compliments and best wishes. Rufus Rockwell Wilson.
Two selections from Lincoln's writings, presenting by Mr. Wilson on the occasion of his birthday, with explanation card attached.
Done in red and black ink.
