Renault Winery Champagne Bottle, Route 9, New Gretna, Burlington County, NJ
Summary
Significance: Built as part of a coast-to-coast advertising campaign in the 1920s, this 24' tall champagne bottle was one of eighty erected along the roadways to promote the Renault wineries. Two other bottles are extant in New Jersey, one in Cologne on Route 30 and the other in Bayville.
