Summary
Significance: The Rider-Lewis Motor Car Company was one of the last firms brought to Anderson by the Commercial Club, a civic group which attempted to meet regional economic decline with local initiatives. The factory buildings, which survived the decline of the automobile manufactory companies, stand as proof of their adaptability as industrial structures.
