Summary

These drawings were donated to the H/H collection by the University of Florida's College of Architecture; the drawings were produced by architecture students at the University of Florida who chose to participate in the preservation option of the architecture school curriculum. The drawings are, therefore, the work of students.
Significance: This late Victorian cottage built in the 1870's typifies the period by its use of vergeboards, bay windows and porch details. Its importance lies in the life of Dr. Sarah L. Robb, one of the first women doctors in the state of Florida. It was moved from its original site on April 11, 1981 to its present location at the corner of S.W. 2nd Ave. and S.W. 2nd Place, Gainesville, Florida.
