Summary
Significance: The bridge was built with Route 31 (originally Highway 30) as part of the highway expansion program undertaken by the state during 1923-1742. It is a three-span example of the concrete-encased steel girder type. The bridge has been identified as a contributing element in the Central Railroad of New Jersey Main Line Corridor Historic District.
