2016 Charles E. Peterson Prize, Entry
Significance: St. Paul's Episcopal Church was built in 1885 and is designed in the Akron Plan Style which was popular during the late eighteenth century because of the advent of children's bible studies. The classrooms wrapped around the sanctuary in a semicircular fashion that helped to facilitate this new form of Christian education known as Sunday School.
