Summary
Significance: The Sams Tabby Complex is architecturally significant as ruins of a large complex of tabby plantation buildings and structures, which includes the main house, a large kitchen fireplace, a smokehouse, a well, and tabby walls. Two wings were added to the main house, c. 1800. The Sams Tabby Complex was nominated to the National Register of Historic Places at the South Carolina State Board of Review on February 27, 1988.
