Summary

Title, date, and keywords based on information provided by the photographer.
With his brother Aubrey, Pilgrim opened a feed store in little Pittsburg. The sculpture appears outside the Pilgrim's Pride chicken-processing company's distribution plant, beneath a much bigger likeness of Bo Pilgrim, wearing traditional Pilgrim dress. Next to the seated figure is Pilgrim's pet chicken, "Henrietta," who was featured in company advertisements. Eventually called Pilgrim's Pride, the company became an international giant, now based in Colorado.
