Senator has annual birthday party. Every tenth of January, Ernest W. Smoot gives a birthday luncheon for his father, Sen. Reed Smoot of Utah. A few months later, the Senator reciprocates by giving a similar party for his son. The photograph shows the principals and few of the guests at the luncheon on the Senator's 69th birthday.
