Summary
Significance: The Southern Pacific Depot built in 1935 on Cahill Street in San Jose was listed on the National Register in 1992 as significant under Criterion C in the area of Architecture as a late example of the Italian Renaissance Revival style in commercial architecture in the state. The Water Tank and other features were considered to be contributing features to the Cahill Depot's setting.
