Significance: The National Park Service replaced bridges in Yosemite Valley with a series of rustic structures designed to harmonize with the landscape. Sugar Pine Bridge is a good example; the bridge's reinforced concrete arch is disguised by a veneer of native granite, making the bridge appear to be rough stone construction.
