Summary
Significance: The Sulphur Fork Creek Bridge is a representative Pratt through truss. Generally typical in composition, it features unusual hip verticals. It is one of the first bridges in the State to have been erected by the Converse Bridge Company, one of only two major native Tennessee bridge companies which specialized in metal trusses.
