Summary

Significance: Crossing the Middle River in rural Douglas County in northwest Wisconsin, the Taylor Bridge is a timber, bolt-connected, pony truss of queen-post design. Constructed in 1929-30, it is the last remaining queen-post truss bridge in the state, and one of the state's only timber-truss bridges.
