The castle of G"ssweinstein - Public domain document scan of drawing

Drawing shows the castle of G"ssweinstein, in the German province of Bavaria, in the distance, atop cliffs. Bayard Taylor traveled through Germany several times in his life, between 1844 and his death in 1879, but the manuscript makes it clear that he is an older man. The drawing is accompanied by page five of a manuscript in which he describes a hike along the Wiesent River to the village of Muggandorf.
