The fabled goose which laid the golden egg was made a reality in Luverne, Minn. when a mere duck was auctioned off repeatedly for the benefit of the local Red Cross Chapter. Nearlt twenty thousand dollars was realized from the sale of the duck. In addition pictures of the duck have been sold for $75.00 and guilded duck eggs have brought in $150.00 more
