As described in Wuerth, "View from the Redentore, foreground heavily shaded, on opposite shore the Salute and other buildings in heavy gray mass against a brilliant rose and gold sunset sky and to the right a gold crescent moon. Colors, black, blue-gray, rose, yellow, cream, gray and orange, on bluish gray paper."
