The Hardwick bill : an interview in the Atlanta constitution

Washington sees friendship growing between the races in the South, but is is marred by proposed election laws that would disenfranchise African Americans. He questions the purposed electoral laws and recommends that southern states adopt a common standard of citizenship for all.
